Wildlife Resources

In this section I hope to bring you lots of information about various structures and homes that could encourage wildlife, where I live massive regeneration with new housing developements has been underway for a few years, this has most certainly impacted on the local wildlife. You rarely see particular animals while others like foxes have virtually moved in with us because food is freely available. Many gardens have lost hedgerows which have been replaced by metal fencing, not a thought was given to the wildlife that used to in it or under it. Even if you only put up 1 small bird box it might make a difference, here I will provide information on how you can do that and lots more.

Providing food for wildlife can be is very important, especially in the winter months, many species are in decline because of climate change which in turn has an impact on their food source. The seasons have become unpredictable and appear to have shifted, animals are having to change thier habits because their normal food is either available too early or too late. We can certainly give a helping hand and supplement them when food is scarce, it is very important that when we provide the right food, and that we don't get them used to being fed by humans.
